Strike 5/5; Surface 4/5. Constantine V Copronymus, 750 - 775 AD Solidus. Struck between 756 - 764 AD at Constantinople. The obverse features CONSTANTInOS S LEON O NEOS, busts of the bearded Constantine V (three-wave hair) and bearded Leo IV (three-wave hair) with chlamys and crown, small cross above, dot in between. The reverse features c LE-ON PA MVL, bearded bust of Leo III. (d. 741 AD, three-wavy hair) with loros, crown and cross. DOC 2d; Sear 1551. 19mm (4.45g).
