1915 $10 Indian Head Eagle PCGS MS63
Here’s a more affordable piece to add to your coin collection. Gold specialist David Akers writes, "The 1915 is always very sharply struck with frosty, virtually non-granular surfaces and very good to excellent lustre. The color is also usually excellent, most often a medium to rich greenish gold with rose or orange highlights."
In a similar vein, Jeff Garrett writes, "Most seen are well struck and fully lustrous and this date stands out as one of the finer examples of this design to come off the dies." PCGS has graded 1,280 as MS63 with 820 finer. Collectors Universe gives this issue a price of $3,150.00 in MS63.
