Absolutely sensational quality-! The color is magnificent. Handpicked for our website out of dozens available to us. Although the 1904-P IS the common date for the $20 Liberty double eagle series, most coins suffer marks and scrapes from jostling in canvas sacks. This coin apparently avoided that fate altogether. Why it isn't a MS65 is anyone's guess...it certainly has that appearance, but at a $500+ savings. Under 7x magnification, the horizontal mark on the nose keeps this beauty from the Gem category.
