Frontier, Deviercy, and Co. had their business at 137 Pine Street in San Francisco. Earlier on, they acquired the jewelry firm of the Joseph Brothers, the acknowledged pioneers of the development and creation of California Fractional Gold coinage. NGC has graded 2 as MS66 with 2 finer. Collectors Universe gives this variety a price of $1,800.00 in MS66.
