1849 $10 Liberty Head Eagle NGC AU55 (CAC)

Here’s a great piece to add to your collection, one that won’t break the bank. It is an attractive piece, and superior for its grade per the green CAC sticker. Please take a look at the images of this offering from AUCM. NGC Coin Explorer tells us, "While the 1849 has the reputation of being one of the more commonly encountered No Motto tens, it is actually quite elusive in mint condition." Numismatists who desire an example of this issue in a solid AU state of preservation should carefully study this listing.

NGC has graded 309 as AU55 with 248 finer. In CAC, there are 15 in AU55 with 22 finer. CAC prices this issue at $2,400.00 in AU55.
