Bohemia - Ulrich Denar ND (struck circa 1012-34AD), Prague mint, Cach-284 varfiety. The obverse features ODALRICVS DVX, with a stylized bust facing right. The reverse features ODALRICVS DVX, a short cross with decorations in each angle. A sharply struck and magnificently toned specimen, featuring an intense array of colors ranging from electric cobalt, magenta, sea foam green, and burnt sienna. An astounding medieval example. TOP POP. Only two coin graded, this specimen and a MS62. Ex. Ex. Künker 165 (3/2010), lot 1139 (which realized a hammer of €1,300 - $1,775) where it was described as "magificent specimen, magificent patina."
