Perfect Strike 5/5; Perfect Surface 5/5 Fine Style (2.99g). Only 3 specimens listed for this variety! A magnificent example struck in the highest quality and care, believed crafted by Ephesus in 71AD. The details are exquisite. The obverse features IMPERATOR T CAESAR AVGVSTI F with the bare head of Titus facing right. The reverse features CONCORDIA – AVG with Ceres, veiled and seated, facing left on a throne, holding two wheat ears and poppy in the right hand and a cornucopiae in the left. In the reverse exergue, we see the monogram EPHE. RIC Vespasian 1438. CBN Vespasian 359. RPC 837 (3 specimens listed). Rare.
