The obverse features helmeted and cuirassed bust of Justin, in a pearl-diadem, facing front, holding in right hand small figure of crowning Victory on globe, and on left arm an ornamental shield with horseman motif. The reverse features VICTORI-A AVCCC around Constantinopolis seated facing right, holding scepter or spear and globus cruciger, star in left field, I//CONOB. Sear 345
